Eligibility application outcomes
Eligibility application outcomes will be released on the date set out in the eligibility application timeline.
You can view your eligibility outcome in your application summary which can be accessed from your Oriel dashboard. This is where the reasons for your eligibility outcome will be displayed.
How to view your eligibility outcome on Oriel
1) From your Oriel dashboard, click on the “Applications” tab
2) Select your Foundation programme eligibility application process application from the ‘My applications’ list
3) Your confirmed outcome reasons will be presented in a table on the right
Applications for UKFP 2027
If you are deemed eligible or eligible with conditions, you must also complete the separate application for the two-year Foundation Programme for 2027 on Oriel.
The application dates can be found in the main Foundation Programme application timeline.
Withdrawing an eligibility application
If you wish to withdraw your eligibility application, you must notify the UKFPO at the earliest opportunity.
Please complete the online form to request to withdraw your application.

You can request to withdraw your application at any time after submitting, up until you are allocated to a foundation school. After this time, you will need to contact your foundation school team in order to withdraw your application.
Once withdrawn, it is not possible to reinstate your application for any reason. You will not be able to re-apply within the current recruitment round once the eligibility application window has closed.
Choosing to withdraw your application will not affect your ability to apply again in future years.
