Non-UK/settled workers are required to provide evidence of their right to work in the UK for the duration of the 2-year foundation training programme upon successful allocation to a foundation school.
Evidence of right to work does not have to be provided at the point of application on Oriel if you do not hold this yet.
After allocation to a foundation school takes place, Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) will be arranged for applicants who need to apply for a work visa.
If you currently have the right to work but this is going to expire before the foundation programme starts, please indicate on your Oriel application that you will require sponsorship. A Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) will then be arranged for you once you have been allocated to a foundation school.
If your visa is due to expire part-way through the 2-year foundation programme, you will need to provide evidence of your continued right to work status beyond this point. You may need to apply for an extension or different type of visa without disrupting your training programme. Right to work information and FAQs can be found on the UKFPO website.
