Information about the appeals process and timeframes can be found in the Resources section. Applicants should refer to the UKFP “National Appeal Process” document and the specific appeal window and deadlines.
An appeal process exists for the following national elements of the foundation programme recruitment process:
- Eligibility application process
- Pre-allocation application process
- Clinical Assessment process
- Inter-foundation school transfer application process
Non-urgent advice: Allocation outcomes
There is no national appeals process for foundation school allocation, nor to the match via the national process to a programme (FP, FPP or SFP). Applicants are not able to appeal their allocation outcome or national programme match. Allocation outcomes are final and there is no national swap process to facilitate applicant swaps between foundation schools or programmes.
