There are approximately 164 posts available across the UK for 2025 F2 Stand-alone programmes. Please note these figures are subject to change:

Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, and Rutland Foundation School: 0
London Foundation School: 0
North West of England Foundation School: 16
Northern Foundation School: 5
Peninsula Foundation School: 0
Severn Foundation School: 12
Thames Valley Oxford Foundation School: 5
Trent Foundation School: 0
Wessex Foundation School: 22
West Midlands Central Foundation School: 0
West Midlands North Foundation School: 0
West Midlands South Foundation School: 0
Yorkshire and Humber Foundation School: 29

Northern Ireland Foundation School: 0

Scotland Foundation School: 20

Wales Foundation School: 0

There has been a high number of applications for 2025 F2 Stand-alone programmes. Only applicants with the highest SJT scores will be invited for an interview.  

The UKFPO would also like to remind applicants: 

  • Refer to each foundation school’s individual website for information on the geographical areas covered by the foundation school.
  • Interviews will be held in April 2025. Successful applicants will be offered posts in May 2025.
