Webinar: Everyday ethical decision-making for foundation doctors

The UKFPO welcome all foundation doctors to our third webinar of the training year.

This webinar will focus on the critical intersection of ethics, law, and professionalism in everyday clinical decision-making. We will equip foundation doctors with the tools to navigate complex ethical dilemmas that arise in routine practice, helping you make decisions that are legally sound and ethically justified.

We will explore the fundamental principles of medical ethics and demonstrate through a case scenario how these principles apply in clinical settings. Whether you’re dealing with significant life-and-death decisions or the more common ethical challenges that every healthcare professional faces, this session will provide you with the vocabulary and reasoning skills necessary to make informed, ethical decisions that respect patient rights while fulfilling your legal obligations.

When: Friday 18 October 2024 13:00-14:00

Where: Virtual via Microsoft Teams. You do not need to pre-register, simply join the webinar at 13:00. The webinar will be recorded and uploaded to the UKFPO website within two weeks of the webinar date.
