Webinar: Sexual safety and professionalism in the NHS – an introduction for foundation doctors

The UKFPO welcome all foundation doctors and faculty to our fourth webinar of the training year.

Trigger warning: Please note this session includes topics on sexual violence which could cause distress and may be triggering to some. It’s important to prioritise your own health and wellbeing, so only attend if you feel able and comfortable to do so. This session will cover:

• Sexism and sexual harassment: definitions, statistics and framing the problem
• Relevance to doctors generally and to foundation doctors specifically
• Professionalism
• What is being done and what can be done
• Importance of allyship and bystanders

 When: 11am – midday GMT, Thursday 28 November 2024

 Where: Virtual via Microsoft Teams. You do not need to pre-register, simply join the webinar at 11am. The webinar will be recorded and uploaded to the UKFPO website within two weeks of the webinar date.
