What are supervised learning events?
Supervised learning events (SLEs) provide a formal way of recording feedback. Although SLEs undertaken in the workplace are formative and their presence in the e-portfolio is primarily for reflection, foundation doctors (FDs) are expected to choose some to include as evidence to support their progress against the Foundation Programme (FP) Curriculum requirements under each foundation professional capability (FPC). SLEs should also be used to highlight areas of good practice and suggest areas for further improvement.
