Nationality & Right to Work
Does my nationality or right to work status place me in the proposed non-priority group?
The proposed Medical Training (Prioritisation) Bill does not take nationality or citizenship/right to work status into account for allocation to the Foundation Programme. This means that an applicant’s nationality, citizenship or right to work status during the application process does not impact on their status as either prioritised or non-prioritised for the allocation process.
For the Foundation Programme, prioritisation is based on the country from which an applicant has gained their Primary Medical Qualification (undergraduate medical degree).
