If you have previously resigned or relinquished a foundation training programme, you must complete a Reapplication to Foundation Training form and upload it to your application form on Oriel.
The reapplication form must be signed by the Foundation School Director (FSD) for the foundation school to which you were previously allocated. The Foundation School Director must be supportive of your reapplication for foundation training. The reapplication from can be found on the F2 Stand-alone 2026 Resources page.
If you have undertaken foundation training in more than one Foundation School, this must be completed by the Foundation School where your removal/resignation from training took place.
If you have applied to F2 Stand-alone programmes before, please note that you cannot re-use a previous reapplication to foundation training form. Only the current 2026 version of the reapplication form will be accepted.
I was previously allocated to, or previously accepted a foundation programme, but I never started in post. Do I need to complete a reapplication to foundation training form?
No, you do not need to complete a reapplication form in this instance. You only need to include a re-application form if you commenced foundation training.
