In this section you will be asked if you require any specific arrangements or adjustments under the Equality Act 2010 to enable you to attend and undertake the Situational Judgement Test.
Reasonable adjustments for the Situational Judgement Test
Any requests for reasonable adjustments (for example, wheelchair access, extra time, accommodations for nursing mothers) must be submitted as part of the application form by the application closing date.
To support your request, you will be asked to provide independent evidence of your condition and the support or adjustment you require (for example, a report for dyslexia, or correspondence from a medical professional who is managing your condition).
This evidence must be uploaded as an additional document to your application form at the time of submission.
Document(s) that are not in English
Applicants with document(s) not in English must provide an English translation from an official organisation for each document. The original language document(s) and translation(s) must be combined into one document.
The UKFPO advises applicants follow the GMC’s guidance on translating documents that aren’t in English.
Disability Confident Scheme (DCS)
You will also be asked if you have a disability, defined as a physical or mental impairment which has a substantial and long term effect on your ability to carry out normal day to day activities and you meet the minimum criteria as specified in the Person Specification, and as such be considered to be offered an interview under the Disability Confident Scheme.
If you wish to be considered under the scheme you must provide further details as well as upload supporting evidence for your request. Examples of evidence that can be provided include:
- Letter from your GP or the medical specialist treating your condition
- Letter or report written by a Occupational Health physician
- Educational psychologist report
The signatory of the evidence must have a relevant professional relationship with you.
If you apply under the DCS and you meet the longlisting criteria, you will be invited to interview. However, you will still be required to sit the Situational Judgement Test.
