The 2024 National Foundation Doctors’ Presentation Day (NFDPD) took place on Friday 19 January 2024, at The Bristol Hotel, Prince St, Bristol, BS1 4QF.
Foundation doctors from across the UK were invited to submit abstracts relating to Sustainability, Education, Ethics, Research/Original Work, Clinical Case Reports, and Quality Improvement work undertaken during their Foundation Programme training. A total of 396 abstracts were submitted, with 17 selected for 10-minute oral presentations and 143 selected for poster presentations in a “mini-oral” format.

We were delighted to welcome Dr Craig Holdstock BMBS BSc (Hons) PGCE FRCA as our keynote speaker to share the amazing work he and a network of volunteers across the UK undertake as part of complex cave rescue teams. Judges and trade stands included representatives from the UKFP, GMC, MSC, BMA & more.
