General UKFPO Information
The UKFPO have set a national deadline for migrant workers to provide evidence of their Right to Work in the UK. The evidence must confirm that the applicant will have the Right to Work by the start of the Foundation Programme because start dates cannot be deferred unless the reasons are statutory.
If an applicant is unable to provide the necessary evidence, their application will be subject to the Resident Labour Market Test (RLMT).
The national deadlines are as follow and they cannot be extended under any circumstances:
For the Academic Foundation Programme 9th January 2020
For the Foundation Programme 27th February 2020
If an applicant’s Right to Work status changes they must notify the UKFPO at the earliest convenience to ensure that the application is not subject to RLMT.
If an applicant misses the deadline, their application will be flagged as subject to RLMT for the first round of allocations. Depending on when the applicant notifies the UKFPO of their revised Right to Work status, their application can by updated so that it is not subject to RLMT for subsequent reserve list batch allocations.
